For the second year running, we are the 2023 Victorian Country Champions!
What a weekend it was! Day 2 was interrupted by weather meaning that two days of racing were squeezed into one! Our swimmers didn’t falter and continued to race hard and fast throughout.
A very special thank you to all of our coaches, team managers, parents, swimmers, sponsors and committee members for coming together again for another great weekend. We also acknowledge and thank @cityofgreatergeelong for their continued support, we couldn’t have done it without you.
Thank you to Swimming Victoria for their hard work in putting on a wonderful event, alongside the Ovens & Murray District.
Finally, thank you to all of the other clubs for coming together to celebrate country swimming. We love to see all regional clubs racing so hard and fast, and for that, we can all only continue to improve!
We now look ahead to states and nationals in the coming months.
