The Crafty Lorisan
The Crafty Lorisan is a wonderful local business co-owned and run by our very own Lori Lee (mother of swimmers Macy Lee, in our State Squad and Evie Lee in our National Age Squad) and the first half of the business name – Sandra (san) being her business partner, also a Geelong local. These awesome ladies have a physical store located in North Shore.
Deakin University
Deakin is the #1 Victorian university for graduate employment, course satisfaction, teaching quality and facilities. – The university provides the club with Sports Science capability and support, and is part of our High-Performance hub working group.
Swimming Victoria
Swimming Victoria is the governing state sporting association for swimming in Victoria. Established in 1893, Swimming Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. Representing the interests of approximately 120 swimming clubs and over 13,500 members, our association provides services and support to registered clubs and members as well as many partner organisations and their members in the aquatic and sporting industry. SV is part of our High-Performance hub working group.
Victorian Institute of Sport
The VIS is based in its own facility at Lakeside Stadium in Albert Park which provides a state of the art training environment for athletes, including a training gym, sprung floor, pool and recovery facilities, sport science laboratories, treatment rooms and offices.
The VIS offers three scholarship programs to athletes to enable them to achieve their sporting potential: Tier 1 scholarships, Individual scholarships and Future Talent scholarships. VIS is part of our High-Performance hub working group.
Christian College
The Club has utilised the Christian College pool facilities over the last 5 years for learn to swim. Our Squad swimmers train at college throughout the year.
The Geelong College
The Club has recently fostered a relationship with Geelong College and will look to provide the college with swim program support. The College offers opportunities to our member that are moving into the local area and looking for schooling opportunities.
